Writing saved my life.
Suffering from childhood trauma caused me to dissociate from my body for over 23 years, and it was journaling that helped me find myself in the darkness.
While I was suffering, I wrote. I wasn’t consistent, and it didn’t always make sense, but I left breadcrumbs leading me back to myself. To my true self. To the self that belonged to me before my trauma took it away.
In order to help others connect to themselves—to understand their pain—and to live healthy, mindful lives, I’ve created the Writing for Health series.
